Los Angeles art lovers, mark your calendars for “Kiki Smith: Untethered Journey,” opening October 30, 2026, at Jeffrey Deitch and Pace Gallery and continuing through January 23, 2027. This major presentation marks Kiki Smith’s first Los Angeles solo exhibition in 30 years, offering a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with the artist’s influential work.
The exhibition brings together historical and recent pieces across sculpture, drawing, glass, print, and textile. With such a broad range of mediums on view, visitors can explore the many ways Smith has examined the human body, nature, mythology, and our connection to the world around us.
For a memorable local outing, build your gallery visit into a full Los Angeles day: invite friends, explore nearby businesses, and leave time to reflect on the works at your own pace. Cultural destinations like this add character to the neighborhoods we call home and make the city an inspiring place to live.
